OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY

We believe in knowing and appreciating where our foods come from, so we’re always sourcing local and seasonal foods produced by people we trust. We love to visit our city’s green markets where we can meet some of the producers.

We love our locally grown tomatoes best in August and September, when they’re at their peak of flavor and sweetness. Later in Autumn, we warm up with winter squashes, earthy root vegetables and hearty greens. In the Spring, we celebrate the return of fresh asparagus and serve it up in a variety of delicious ways; whether in a salad or a soup or just on its own.

We strive to offer the most wholesome, organic, natural and sustainable options and serve them up with fun, enticing presentations . . . kid’s favorite staples and dishes to excite the grown-up palate.
